In 2023, the legal department of the charitable organisation “Women’s march” began with legal consultations for women who had suffered from of the full-scale invasion. We helped with a whole range of requests, from protecting rights at work, applying for social benefits, IDP status, and access to services, to issues of gender-based violence and protecting children’s rights. Over time, our program has grown into a full-fledged human rights program. Today, we not only assist with individual appeals, but also conduct a systematic analysis of court practice and prepare materials and suggestions for amendments so the protection is effective not only in theory but in practice.
